i need a camera for my photography class at my high school... im pretty sure my teacher said a 35mm.. i haven't been able to find a camera but my friend just found one the other day and it's a 50mm. it's a civica F-700... it look like the ones my teacher has (big, ancient...) can this camera have it's lens changed? does it really matter if it's the wrong lens size... like could i not use it for the class? what difference does a wrong lens size make?
um... is this a manual camera? it has all the weird levers and the whole back opens like the cameras we had to label in class...

35mm means that your teacher wants you to use 35mm film. It has nothing to do with the lens size.

You need a completely manual film camera, where you can set the shutter speed and aperture yourself. That's so you can learn more about photography. A manual camera will give you much more control and creativity over your pictures.
