Camcoder Problem

I recently installed the 'Philips Camcoder' but at reply I get this fuzzy rainbow-colored picture! Is it a settings' issue?
What's the best video-camera software (picture-quality wise)?

Yes, unfortunately it seems that 'Philips Camcoder' works only on N6600. So far I haven't found any video recording software that works properly with SX1. There are some rumors that ETI Camcorder Pro works fine but so far all versions I've tried do not work properly all the time. Sometimes the video is recorded OK but sometimes it isn't. I really do not have a clue why?
 
ETI works fine with me, but the picture qualtiy is no better than the phone's original software!
I need an application that produces mpeg4 recordings.
 
Is it really working fine with sound? Which version?
You may convert the *.EYE/*.EAR files that ETI produces to whatever you wish on your PC using a convertor.
 
v.1.03 works fine with sound. It's 102kb, let me know how to send it to you.
Which sofware converts the 'eye' files?

i made my first recording on fresh formatted phone, i recorded 190 seconds with normal quality and audio on. Player played all, i hope it keeps going like that thanks
 
I Eti camcoder that work Good 4 SX1
extract the file with winrar and copy the 3 folder to E/System/apps

Don't you have audio problems with Eti Camcorder? I record with Eti but sometimes although it keeps recordeing only few seconds are recorded with both video and audio. it stops after few seconds when playing the recorded file. The rest of the file has no sound.
 
Does it record mpeg4 format? I want to record video in xvid, is it possible?

i've found 2 sis installer that works FINE with sx1.


The file name say v3.00 but sis installer is v1.00 (i hope they've made a repack...)
however work!

What do you mean by 'user area'? I like the philips, but I got a problem with video replay, I get a fuzzy rainbow-colored picture when replaying recorded videos!
 
no, eti doesn't record in mpeg4 format! it has its own format *.eye, you can use a program called eyecon to convert it to avi. xvid recording is not possible at the moment.
