Callpod Dragon Bluetooth Headset problem?

- won bluetooth headset
- charged it for recommended time
- manual said red charge light would turn off, didnt...
- charged for longer... still didnt
- unplugged it, tried to turn it on... wouldnt turn on
- plugged it back in, tried pairing with phone.... was successful
- unplugged it again when it was working, device turned off
- any suggestions? cant return it bc i won it and cant find troubleshooting on the internet... anything would be appreciated thanks
