Last Three Carriers:

AT&T/Cingular BlueBell Atlantic Mobile/Verizon Wireless(1998 - 2001)Sprint PCS (1997 - 1998, partly pager service)Last Three Devices:Motorola MPx200Palm Treo 680Palm Treo 750Reasons for T-Mobile:I'm on a Family plan, so it wasn't my choice.Tried AT&T for 3G service, but neither the CS or the actual service is very good (and it's expensive).Cheapest data plans on the market, including Blackberry options.(HAD) The best cycling team in the universe!Pink FTW!Personal Improvement Opinions:
Implement UMTS/HSDPA already!Modernize phone selections (even though Blackberry seems to be following the times well)

Castro Valley CA (near Oakland & S.F.)

T-MOB has best service here on our hill. Also, reasonable plan for voice... can't afford the data plan for my 8100 yet until I find a new job.

My name is Rob, I live in the Twin Cities area and just picked up my 8320 yesterday and I love it! I have been with Tmobile for 3 years now, they seem to be the most stable out of all the other carriers I have tried over the years.

Cheers!

Hi,

My name is Sadie, I live in Florida. The 8100 is my very first BB, loving it so far. I've been with T-Mobile for about 8 months now, so far they've been great I love how friendly thier CSRs are. I switched over because Verizon was getting ridiculously expensive and with Tmo i get way more for way less.

Vidkid here.....

I live in Arlington, Texas....

Used to be with AT&T, I'm switching to T-MO, Cheaper rates... hope the coverage is good...

Got a great deal from Letstalk.com, 3 Blackberry's for free + I make $30.00....

For me... the 8320 & for the kids... 2 BB pearls....

1000 mins for 69.00 + unlimited data & text (family plan)...

Phone I had was the junk ericsson Z520a....

Hope I can surf the net with the 8320....

jblackfish, 8100, Little Rock, AR. The main reason I chose to move to Tmo is for GSM, their customer service and the pricing on their pre-paid (FlexPay) plan. No more contracts please!

Do you know if there's a way to locate the EDGE coverage in the U S? I'm locked into GPRS here in Little Rock and this thing is slooooow. I'd like to consider a wi-fi BB next, either the 8320 or the 8120 if possible. I need to make sure the pre-paid side of Tmo won't prevent me from using it somehow (I always get a surprise here and there) and that it'll work on my 2701 HG-8 (AT&T DSL) wireless home network.

All in all I like T-Mobile but their coverage leaves a lot to be desired when I compare them to Alltel (in my traveling experience which includes from SC to MT and in between, fairly national) who I was with for 12 years (including a BB for over a year.)

Happy to hear from you or any other BB TMO users.

jb

FYI: To add to my own question above about coverage in the U S, there's a web site I've found: http://www.cellreception.com/ that doesn't rate coverage by EDGE or carrier but shows coverages and towers that are registered in the US.

Device: 8100
Reason: Love then...first company I got s my provider in 2000(Voicestream) and been with them since. Good customer service. They awsome.

I am from Idaho and I have T-Mobile. I have the 8100 and I love it. I also work for T-Mobile so that is why I have T-Mobile. I also have Verizon but its only because I am in contract with them still and my parents only get Verizon service where they live and I need it to talk free to them. If that wasn't the case, I would not have Verizon and my parents would have T-Mobile. It is so easy to choose which one, especially when you have a Blackberry because with T-Mobile you are going to get unlimited email and web for 20.00 a month and with Verizon you will pay about $45. So its obvious.

I've been with T-Mobile for 3 years and I just comitted to another 2 years. Like Yellowone said, they do have killer plans. My bill isnt $50 a month and I have 1000 minutes, unlimited long distance, 400 text and picture messages for $4.99/mo. Its perfect for me. Im thinking about adding a data plan and even then my bill will only be $60.00/mo. This plan has worked for me so, if it aint broke, im not trying to fix it.

mark/ chicago/ IL/ started with a sidekick 1/ 8700g/ and now the 8320 curve.

t-mobile has the best cs/ coverage is good/ and pricing is decent

I've been with T-Mobile for about three years now -- switched from Cingular when I realized that my other BB, the 7100g, didn't get a signal in either my college area or where my family lives. Except for that little detail (freaking Cingular...) I really liked it, but when I made the switch I went to a trendy pink Razr, then a Sidekick 3, and now here I am with the BB Pearl!

It's great to be back on a BB -- this time, with way better coverage. And I have always had good experiences with T-Mobile Customer Care and all the stores, which is something that always affects my decision to stay with a company. The plans are nicely priced, too.
