~via BB (wap.rabroad.com)~Wha's uppers everybody? My name is Samm, 22yrs old from Carlsbad,CA. Been w /tmo for 'bout 4yrs because they were the only cellular carrier that didn't demand a $400 deposit. Started with the Motorola V300 to the V600 then the PalmOne Treo600 and now the BBPearl that I am sprung off of.Never really had any big issues w/tmo but I let my bbp batt die before I charge it over night and the next day noticed that my email wasn't working! Everytime I try to re-set up my email(yahoo) account on my pearl like I did when I first bought the phone.Instead now the tmo web page pops up saying unlimited email and tmo internet ect...for only $5.99 a month.I'm already paying about $20 a month for internet and all that other BS.Am I going to have to sign up for this just to receive and send email Is there something I'm missing or a way around this??? Sum'body please show me the light! Peace'outrooo

Whad up peeps.... been with T-mobile for since they were voicestream back in the day. But yeah i just got my first BB a Pearl...and its awsome! From reading some of the posting on here im missing out on what my pearl can really do!

Just joined T-Mobile, the pricing and GSM network were big drivers for me, I also did research and the coverage w/ T-Mo in Chicago seemed to have better reports than Cingular & Sprint. I was with Sprint prior to T-Mo for 49 days ... I hate CDMA voice quality (especially on the 8703e blackberry) it was a horrid experience.

sup sup im jester here in northern VA.

got a 8700g (up from a 7290 Cingular) went with T-Mobile cause www.deafpager.com had a killer deal on the phone, so i took it. Now im here to find out how to use the phone as a modem for when im on the road every weekend.

Hi Mike here from Connecticut. I started with work BB in 2003, then went to a personal 7100 in 2004, presently using a 8700g. I went with T-Mobile for the price, about 1/2 of what I would be paying one of the other services. Also T-Mobile seems to have pretty good service. As an Emergency Manager I like the flexability offered in varoius communcations options in the BB, Cellular, sms, mms, various IM programs and the BB Pin.
Thanks!!

"Hi, my name is Sam, up here in Michigan. I use t-mobile because my family does and am added onto my son's plan. We are in a t-mob roaming area, so I just use it on evenings and weekends and while traveling. I use a bb6230, I like the pda function on it, and really don't use much else. I own two of these phones,
#1-phone uses v.4.0 Platform 1.6.1.48
#2-phone uses v.3.7. Platform 1.6.0.90
We don't have t-mob here but they do have it 10 miles down the road.
The #1 phone like my previous cell phone picks up another local carrier's signal other than t-mob.
The #2 phone picks up the t-mob signal and i can use it w/o doing t-mob roaming.
My question is this: Do you think it's software that would be the reason that I pick up t-mob. If I upgrade to v.4.0 on the #2 phone would I possibly not pick up the t-mob signal?? "
