I'm not at all happy with Rogers.

I started with a Treo 680 and (almost) everywhere I went there was no service or SOS only. Rogers even sent me a new (refurbished) T680 but it didn't make any difference. My brother-in-law who lives about 60km north of Toronto had the same experience with a BB7290. He switched to Bell and now he is happy. They upgraded him to a newer BB so he gave me his 7290 to try out and it's kinda cool! Unfortunately the service isn't really any better so I thought I would at least learn the BB basics.
I have all my contacts and calendar appointments on Rogers Yahoo! and I have yet to successfully sync. I got my 700+ contacts transferred to the BB but the street addresses are missing! City, Province, Postal Code & everything else is OK. I scoured the Forums but someone on the LIVE Chat found a stacker with EXACTLY the same problem, apparently unresolved since July 07. I wanted to contact them directly to see if they had solved the problem or had come up with a work around but rabroad said I have to have at least 10 posts before I can contact another stacker directly.
I tried Rogers technical support but they were not any help. To make matters worse, the IntelliSync that can be dowloaded from Rogers Yahoo! is not compatable with my OS, Vista. Maybe that is my whole problem?
I've tried to update the BB & desktop software but I'm not really sure what versions I should be using or if they are even compatable with Vists.
I hope if you have read this far you don't think I have verbal diarrhea !
Bottom line (no pun intended) NO, I'M NOT HAPPY WITH ROGERS and until I can get the BB to sync properly the jury is out.
