Call Recorder: What's the best??

Hey guys I was doing some basic searching for S60 3rd for a better Voice recorder than the original Nokia one, which beeps and is limited to 1 minute.

I found this:

I wonder if you guys know of any better software for s60 3rd?

The above has some nice features...what more do you want?

Just wondering if theres anything out there that is better and more trusted...
 
Ultimate Voice Recorder was running great on my N73 until it crippled the keypad in one Java game i play. i was unable to use the number keys to play the game due to how UVR hooks the input for its shortcut keys. now i'm using LivePVR which is just as good. maybe you can try both and find out which one you like better.
 
I wanted to like LivePVR, but the way it handles the "no beep" is shoddy at best. Instead of actually stopping the beeping, LivePVR merely cuts the audio to both parties of the call for the duration of the beep. Go ahead and playback a recorded conversation and you will notice many holes in the audio.

To get around the shortcut keys for UVR, all you have to do is re-assign them to some nonsensical string of numbers. Instead of #0 to start a recording, change it to #9347858976439058 or something. That should guarantee that you don't hit it on accident.
 
the little imperfection i can handle, since i just want the call recorded so i won't forget anything from it, if needed. but yes, UVR has better recording algorithm.

it's not that i hit the shortcut by accident. it's the fact it completely disabled the use of numeric keys in that particular game which i'm totally addicted to.
 
So far Ultimate VR is the only one that really doesn't beep for all calls. It Also works well as a personal voice recorder for notes and such.
 
I downloaded the demo

has some cool features like "hide" mode where you don't even have to open up the application to record or stop recording anything, whether its a call or not...just press 2 buttons ..for my n73 its when u hold the number 2 and press the pen symbol 3 times it enables/disables recording, call or not.

it does a good job recording calls whether speaker phone or not it sounds the same...but the mic is sensitive so don't be moving the phone around too much while recording

also, i noticed one thing..when in record mode (not call mode) just recording mode.., u can't play mp3's or music or a movie or anything...no sound comes out lool but im sure thats how it should be..right?

i think ima go ahead and purchase my first symbian software..in fact i only purchase a software like once a year...cuz for somthing like this u'll never find a crack or a key for it somewhere lool haha
 
Exactly.
It works just like Power Dictaphone on the older S60s. I love the "activate recording from any screen" feature.

EDIT: Actually, the only thing I wish it did was display what number you called in the call log, instead of just "call 1, call 2," etc.
