Call of Duty: World at War HELP!!!?

my problem is is that about a month ago I had been rank 53 2nd prestige on Call of Duty: WW online. but when I had turned on my Xbox 360 the next day I was rank 1 no prestige. It's like my acount had gotten ereased. So I hit level 10 and try to create a class but I don't have anything to create. I don't even have the guns you start off with like a Thompson or TrenchGun. I don't have any Perks at all either.

The odd thing is is that if you look in my service report in leaderboards in the barracks, for Team Deathmatch it says that I'm Rank 8, but if you look under I think it's like Search and Destroy or Team Tactical it shows that I'm still rank 53 2nd prestige.

can somebody help me with my problem. PLEASE!!!!

On the COD website, Treyarch said that they had recieved many letters saying that their account suddenly got reset. They said that the reason for that is when the scores were being calculated at the end of the game, if you left at that exact moment, then the calculation would fail and you would go back to Lv. 1.
