Call Answer Lag

When I recieve an incoming call it takes the 8100 up to 5 seconds before it connects. A few times now I've attempted to answer the call (by pressing the GREEN phone button) and the call will disconect and immediately call back the incoming number.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? If so, is it an OS issue or something more broad?

It could be a bug in the OS, have you tried pulling out the battery for 30 seconds then back on?

If it continue to happen, please post what OS version are you using.$

I'm having the same problem. TMO OS .64 was SUPPOSED to solve this but it dose not. When loading .71 or .73 from Cingular on a TMO phone, do you have to do anything special? For example, many people on different networks upgrade their Pearl OS using the latest Rogers update, but you have to go in and delete a certain file if you are not on the Rogers network. Is this neccessary for putting Cingular OS on a TMO phone? If so, what is the file and how/when do you delet it?
