...(The OC, BH 90210)/movies (Blow)? Im a NYer born in the 80's. I was always fascinated by what i saw on TV about CA, growing up as a kid. San Fransisco seemed like heaven, in terms of its hippie culture in the 60's (Blow), and i always wanted to live there.
I always used to think that CA had its own culture. But now that I've visited CA (not lived there), I see everything that I'd seen before is overrated, just like what foreigners think about NYC.
I want to ask Californians: is there a CA culture. How would you describe it, would you describe it anything like shows like The OC, Laguna Beach etc? I definitely love the weather there though.
