I live in California I grew up in a home with guns, I know how to shoot, I know about gun safety, I was going to school to be a cop or probation officer, but don't want to do that now. I don't currently have a gun but I want one, so how would I go about getting a gun license? do I get the gun and the license at the same time or do I get the license first? and how would I get a concealed weapons license? I have a very small stupid thing on my criminal record lol I am embarrassed to even mention it, I was arrested for possession of stolen property, I had a street sign like the name of the street, and I spent the night in jail, got bailed out, went too court and had to take a class and do community service, will this effect me getting a concealed weapons license at all?
