um yea, been trying to this problem for ages, cant seem to get the right answer. heres the question
find the equation of the normal to f(x = ( x^2 - ) / 2x + 3 at the point where x = - 1
so i use quotient rule right? according to my answer my normal ends up being 1/2 - which is probably wrong.
then yea... i do like 1/2 = y + 2 / x + 1
and get like 2y = x + 3, but this is not correct.
it should be 2Y = x + 1,
Yea working to this question woud be great, thanks
