I was watching this and did anyone else find Adelaid Adams really rather plain? not the gorgeous babe all the cowboys looked on her as especially compared to Doris Day and the girl who played Katie Brown.

If Doris Day spenRAB part of the film in unflattering clothes then the Director would need to compensate by downgrading Adelaid Adams.appeal.

I adore this film! I'm not a musicals fan, especially musicals relating to westerns; I can never get into Oklahoma but I love this film mainly because of the chemistry between Howard Keel and Doris Day.

Such a great film my children love this - I must dig it out and watch it at the weekend.

I agree about Adelaid, she was attractive but not so much as Calamity!
