Cadillac and Jeep comparison! HELP!?

My aunt has a 2008 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT8 and its is pretty fast at about 424hp. She always has something to say about how her car is SOOO much better than everybody else's. Her husbands a cop and still lets her race. Needless to say i don't really care much for her. So i am looking to put her in her place when it come to her car and how she THINKS it is fast. Im getting a cadillac cts v. I know the 2009 models are 556 hp and teh fastest sedan on the market. But im getting an 07. What i want to know is if i will win a race in a 07 cadillac cts v against an 08 jeep grand cherokee srt8? thanks for any help you may be able to provide! :)
 
sorry to say but just like the last answer the SRT8 jeep is an animal for the take off , very few production cars have the take off like them .
If you did have a drag race over the quarter mile the jeep would beat you every time but if you were going down the freeway your cadillac may have the top end speed to catch her but she would have made that much of a gap that it would take the cadillac over 2 miles to catch up before you could overtake her.
 
Im going to have to sadly disappoint you and tell you that the cadillac still will not beat the SRT 8. In a stock to stock match, the SRT beats the CTS by almost 2 seconds (10.75 to 12.3) and that is assuming you are talking about the cts v2. sorry . . . . .
 
The Cherokee has a stronger motor, manu-matic transmission, and a great all wheel drive system to get it out in front faster. Put simply, you dont stand a snowballs chance in hell.
