Cables to Flash Phones

What are the common cables you need to flash phones? Where can I buy them or what would you search under? Also what phones are the most common that get flashed?

Yes I am completely new and have never flashed phones but I get asked all the time if we can flash phones at our liquor store and we are opening a Cricket store very soon. So its time to start learning and after reading the beginners guide I think I can learn how but I can not seem to find a bundle of cables that will cover most phones anywhere.
 
I went to ebay and searched for the cables. They are much cheaper there and you get them fairly fast. Be careful that you get DATA cables though. Some of the cables are simply for charging through your pc/laptop and will not serve as a data cable.

Start off with a Samsung R500 cable, Motorola v3m cable, Sanyo 8100 cable, LG rumor cable, LG VX 5200, and an LG dare cable. These cables will work for quite a few phones. Then as you grow in your business you can get more cables. But these 6 cables will get you by for quite a while and it should cost less than $50 right on Ebay.

Don't go for the websites that will give you "their" software and several cables to get started for only $199.
 
there is already a thread about this so search a bit and you would of found it.

if you dont wanna buy cables one by one google susteen cables and that gets you most of what you need.
 
I actually did search before posting and only found one good post that did list what cables and what are most used but the post was over a year old and the links did not work anymore. We all know how much technology changes in a year and before investing in bunch cables I want to buy ones I most likely need. I also planning on buying some of used phones so I can learn what I am doing.

You dont need the ebay links to work.... Your question was answered in that thread as a matter of fact by me.

I gave you all the model nurabers takes to secs to type sanyo data cable, or audiovox 8910 usb data cable into ebay...
 
It was your post I was reference to but that post was over a year ago. Are most of the phones you posted are they still being used for flashing? I can do the search that is no big deal I just did not want to buy bunch of cables that is no longer being used in the industry.

I think I may end up buying the Cellebrite UME-36PRO after doing some research and it also has just about every cable needed to do flashing as well.

Your correct you can not flash with Cellebrite . You only can transfer files from phone to another with ease. And I will use the Cellebrite cables and other software for the flashing. For 249.00 I could not pass that up the cheapest I ever found one was 600-799 and new they sell for $1,100 btw the lady does have one more unit she listed it on ebay today for 299.00
 
Most of the celebrite cables wont work.... Dont know why but i have troubles with them. Works fine for the machine but not for the computer i think it mainly deals with serial connection
