I am the new owner of the car. I went to register the car at the DMV. I payed for it but it seems I need a smog check and my application is incomplete. I asked the DMV if I could drive it and they said yeah because its registered under my name (is that true?). However im still doubtful. What do you guys think? Could I drive it legally? Or should I wait until I get the smog check amd turn in the paperwork to the DMV?
