C50 passenger seat on M50?

Do any of you know if a C50 passenger seat will fit on an M50 frame?? I have a 2006 Blvd M50 and my wife would like a more comfortable passenger seat. I hope to get a mustang seat later on...but for now...does anyone know if this will fit?

The short answer is no it does not fit. The longer answer is it can be made to fit and here is a thread that shows with some detail how.

I did this mod and my wife really appreciated it, it is much more comfortable that the stock pillion. As for seats, Mustang does not make a seat that fits the M50, Corbin and Saddlemen are about the only options, unless you want to take the stock seat pan and have someone do a custom seat for you.
 
The Long answer is yes it will fit...

Now I did it without changing the rear mounting tab. What I did was got the strap bracket and drilled 2 new holes ABOVE the existing holes. bolted it on the bike then slid the C50 seat on it (tight fit here but it will go) then the rear mount lines up perfect.

it sits just a tad bit forward over the drivers deat but gives abit of a back rest to lean against.

so both ways will work have fun.

anyone know about an 02 Volusia seat?? anyone know if this will fit my M50 with or without slight modification?
