C50 - How do you set the CLOCK ?

IIRC you put it in clock mode then push and hold both buttons of the odo/ clock deal, then once the display flashed you use the buttons to change the time.

This is from the 2007 Canadian C50 manual page 2-8:
Clock
The clock has a 12-hour display. Follow the procedure below to adjust the
clock.
1. Push the buttons, 5 and 6, simultaneously for 2 seconds until
the hour display blinks.
2. Adjust the hour display by pushing the button 6.
NOTE: When the button 6 is held in the display advances continuously.
3. Push the button 5 to highlight the minute display.
4. Adjust the minute display by pushing the button 6.
5. Push the button 5 to return to the clock mode.

Note: The button 5 is on the clutch lever side and button 6 is on the front brake lever side.

"VCR" apparently stands for "Very Complicated Radio". I've been playing with the dials for 11 years now, and not only can I not get the clock set, but still no reception! Not even the big AM station right down the road. And despite what the slot in the front led me to believe, it stubbornly refuses to play my 8-track tape of "Frampton Comes Alive". I finally gave up and bought the 'digitally remastered' version of Gordon Lightfoot's 'Sundown" on one of those new fangled CDs, but it sounded like crap no matter if I had the turntable set for 78 or 45 speed.
