I have an 07 C50 and wanted to replace the stock exhaust with something louder. I was thinking about Roadhouse Classic 2 into 1 Exhaust System. Any thoughts on this system, sound, etc. Can I just take off the stock and exhaust and put the new one on or do I have to do somethng special??

You won't have to do anything, as the 06 and up have Fuel Injection and compensate. If you want better performance with the exhaust then you use one of those FI computer add-on systems. I drilled out my exhaust, but have another set of mufflers just in case. I bought another set, drilled and installed them. I kept my OEM mufflers, for when it needs to go back for warranty work.

I don't know, I bought an EXTENDED warranty, I got a GREAT deal, as they miss-quoted me a 5-year total, 100,000 mile front to back warranty for 441.00! IT covers everything no matter where I break down, for flat-bedding, over night stays if stranded, and so on. IT was supposed to be 562.00, but he said 441, so that's what I got it for. These bikes are VERY reliable in order for them to offer such a good warranty with all those perks. The Japanese build a great engine, I got a Dodge Avenger ES with the Mitsubishi 2.5, going on 126,000 miles, all original, runs as good as the day I got it, even with SOLID (Delrin) motor mounts.

As far as the first year MFG warranty? I have heard that if there is certain kinds of engine damage; valve, cylinder, rings; that if you have altered the exhaust they won't cover it. Altering, or opening the exhaust can lean out the system, and that increases engine temperature (you can look it up on HOWTHINGSWORK.COM). I, and you, should go over the warranty papers and look, unless someone else knows.
