The C109 is a completely new model, and was never intended to be in the showrooms before February. Suzuki has said this since they unveiled the pre-production prototype a year ago- the C109 and C109T will not be out with the other 2008 models, but will be out in February as a mid-year intro. Dealers are dying to get them, as the C90 is rather undersized compared to the offerings from Yamaha, Honda, and Kawasaki, so the new model will add some overdue competitiveness and excitement to the Suzuki cruiser lineup.
As for HP, I have not seen final figures yet, and most likely we will have to wait until a reviewer puts one on the dyno, as Suzuki does not usually put this information in their published material. The motor is similar to the one in the M109r, but is modified for increased lower end torque- the M109r mill makes peak power at something like 6500 RPM, where the C019 version will aim for low rpm grunt.
