C109R Surge

I have had my 109 for about six months and I continue to have power surges when I am in 3rd and 4th gears running at a constant speed. I took it to the dealer but it came back still doing the surge. Anyone else having this issue? I figure it was probably something to do with the fuel injection but that is just my guess.

Surging is indicative of a lean condition. I would think that Xantos is running a high flow filter and AM pipes without a processor. AFR is probably in the range of 16 or 17 and should be no higher than 14.7. So the dealer, being usually of little help, did not put 1 and 1 together.

J.D. did you do filter and pipe mods before adding the Bully or were you having surging problems running stock??

It came from the factory that way. I haven't done any mods to the intake or exhaust yet! I probably will be doing that this winter tho. That is what I like about the Bully. I can set it up for my situation and change it easily as I go with more mods.

Hola all, new to the journal. Haven't had any problems with my 109 at all. Had it for about a month now. Graduated from the C50. The wife has that one now.

I installed the PCIII last week using the m109 stock map from power commander website. Got rid of the surging smoothed out acceleration and also have better pickup.
Going to install a new exhaust and intake then i will take it to get it to the dyno.

Thanks
Lon

The Bully Controller will allow you to add a bit of fuel at cruise and fix that issue. GManIndustries.com
