I am learning c++ right now. And was wondering if i will need to learn php for serverside scripting. According to my research it turns i can do everything in c++ but causes 5x times more work than php,(Right?). Which is bad. I thought to ditch c++ since im not interested in general programming. but then someone says you may still wana learn c++/perl/etc. My question how learning c++ can help me in server side scripting. Present a scenario. Like in what situation coding for web in c++ would be better off than in php.
