very nice episode but...

...didn't you have a sense of deja vu when Homer and his dad signed a contract of owning the tavern when drunk? It reminds me of "Viva Las Vegas" when Homer and Ned Flanders was married when they was drunk
 
I think every episode nowadays has some form of deja vu since the show, y'know, ran out of ideas.

I really wanted to like this episode but whoever keeps writing the garbage dialog Marge keeps getting saddled with should be the first to get fired. The groan factor in most of Marge's lines are one of the factors that killed the show for me and this episode almost was no exception. I DO however liked the Mr. Potatohead judge, the Chief Wiggum gag at the end and the musical number though. Moe's line about trying to find his father based on a Lucky Charms box got a laugh from me even if it made no sense. (I thought Moe was supposed to be italian?)
