C & C The Simpsons " Funeral for a Fiend " (11/25/07)

I thought this was an okay episode; although there were definitely some stupid parts, I fortunately can't remember them. I did laugh out loud a couple of times.
 
Uh... she's just one character who's only there as a Opra parody so... yeah. :sweat:



My Simpsons knowledge may not be as sharp as my sister's (big Simpsons fan) but I do know how a criminal mind works. I think Crusty is water under the bridge now.
 
These season 19 episodes are legally put on Fox and NBC's new online video site, so unless you want to avoid registering for a beta, I don't see why you can't see the episode soon.
 
Sideshow Bob episodes are always my favorites (except for that Italy one Blegh) so I was really excited about seeing this one. This one I enjoyed, it had some great laughs and it made you wonder how things would end up. I liked seeing Cecil again and I thought there would be a lot more speaking parts with his father but I guess not.

I'm glad Bob faked his death, leaves room for more episodes with him in the future. Plus I would have been upset if he was killed off.

And hey another Itchy and Scratchy cartoon, there hasn't been this many in a long time.

I give this episode a solid B.
 
I have to say, I appreciate the little touches that the animation team is giving the new Itchy & Scratchy shorts to make them stand out a bit from the normal Simpsons animation style. It's a bit more cartoony, and I like that.

Anyway, this was better than "The Italian Bob" and "The Great Louse Detective", thankfully. Though did anyone else find it strange how Bob's father gave him a needle shot during that flashback? It wasn't exactly discreet. Surely someone in the court would've noticed a big needle going into his neck.
 
This was the best episode this season. Krusty and Bob best friends now? Wow. I guess Krusty forgives people very eazly, even after the guy has tried to kill him what 2? Yet he gets angry at Bart who has what saved his neck 44 times? The guy must be very confused some how, course he does drink a lot, maybe he forgot a lot of things becuase of that LOL. Any ways Homer and Bart were great. The town sucks, well Millhouse is great, but the rest suck seriously. Did they forget that Bob tried to kill Bart more than once? Yet they put there own anger over the issues in the court? WTF is that?! Any ways those are my two complaints right there on this episode. Barts character was really great here, I mean you felt sorry for him. Here was in this problem where he hated the guy for trying to kill him over and over agian, yet he's sorry for killing him at the same time. You have to see Barts eye with this one too, we all saw how many times Bob has tried to kill him, so we should know and feel how angry Bart is. Also he did have some great lines and I liked his conversation with Bob's brother. The ending to the episode was great.I loved the episode, seriously.
