C-90 Highway Bars

BADBOY!!!

I'm looking at putting Highway/Crash bars on my 2006 C-90. I'm considering the Cobra Fatty bar, Lindby Bar or OEM. I like the looks of the Lindy, but they are costly and I've heard they can be challenging to install. Any opinions or feedback ?

I have the Lindby bars on mine and they look great. They were a pain in the but to get on, but with some patience, a couple of beers and some help (You really need to pull on those suckers to get them over the frame to line them up) it's well worth it.

One other thing is the bottom brackets are pretty low and if you lean hard in a turn, they're going to scrape (not the bars themselves, just the bracket)

Thanks for the feedback. I liked the Lindby bars, but the Cobra's were less expensive and an easy install, so I ended up going with the Cobra Bars.

I am still trying to decide but I think I will get the lindby bars for my bike. In my mind the cost is the same. You have to buy footpegs for the cobra which brings the price to about equal plus additional installation. We shall see.

Just found the Lindby for $299 and the cobra fatty for $199. Add in the pegs with ends and it still comes to about $299. If I bought the cobra bars I would want the Kuryakyn stiletto footpegs which are $100 + ends =$120+$199=$319. Is my math right? So yeah it would be in the range that seems to  shock you. I am glad this came up otherwise I probably would not have found the stiletto pegs did not know the were made. I made SS stiletto fork caps and I plan to buy kuryakyn grips with stiletto ends so everything would match.
