Bye-Bye wobble! Hello Bagger Brace! Pics!

Gunner,

There are several of us here with them fitted trying to encourage you to go get one. I have done 4,000 miles with the TrueTrack kit on my old dresser and let me assure you there is no turning back! There are several brands all doing much the same job and any one of them will change YOUR life forever!

Don't hesitate any longer - go do it....

There are two answers to your question! The Bagger Brace will fit recent dressers/touring models. You should go check their website to see if your model is covered. There are several other brands making similar devices, any one of which will also probably fit.

These kits all set out to fit things to your bike the factory has made no brackets for. So most of the parts they supply are creating the necessary places to fit a third stabilizer link. Dressers have one in front of the engine, another at the heads and this new one goes under the back of the gearbox.

Over the years the design of dressers has changed, so earlier models need different brackets. If you have an earlier dresser like my 1990 FLHS, the only brand I found that supplies a kit is TrueTrack. So you need to find a brand that makes a kit for your model - the more recent it is the more kits will fit.

Darren:

Thanks for the post on the Bagger Brace. I just ordered mine (spoke with Stacy) and it is being shipped next week.

For those of us who are ordering now, here is a great update on the pricing of the Brace: It is now available in both the original finish (silver) and also the black -- at the same $289. And if you mention that you saw the post and information on the Brace on this website, you'll get free shipping.

Way to go, Darren. Thanks for the product information and detailed write-up!.... Is this a great site or what?
