So my ex-girlfriend just broke up with me in the rudest of manners! First, she recorded the audio of us having rough sex and distributed that throughout the school while simultaneously spreading the rumor that I am a woman beater. Now, I have what is basically a 0% chance of obtaining new friends in high school and I've found out who my real friends are. Why do people do this?
 
You should tell people that smackin' her ass during sex isn't considered beating.

You should also own up to the rough sex part. You know all the schoolboys are just jealous they can't get any.

But, you have to remember that you do have real friends that will be there for you no matter what. Hold on to those.

What a bitch. Oh well man, I would agree with Rae; few highschoolers can really own up to having rough sex during their career. Or at least that's the way it is over here.

I'd just take the tape, tell your friends what it is ahead of time, and if they don't have a copy, tell them not to accept one from that bitch of an exgirlfriend.
 
Well, you could let your ex know that you never signed a Legal Release Form, and if she distributes or continues playing the recording, you'll have her butt on People's Court before she can say Jerry Springer.

That was mostly a joke, because it wouldn't help the rep much - only give more advertising to the situation.

Regardless of how tacky it is to record someone without their consent or knowledge, anyone listening will consider the source. Who is the more credible, her or you? If anyone is brave enough (or insensitive enough) to ask you about it, just let them know that any actions between the two parties were completely consentual, and leave it at that.

And remember, fish and news go stale after a day. There will be another scandal circulating the hallways before you know it.

Oh, and you might want to consider a bit more discretion (or at least use a bug detector) in future adventures.
 
That recording isnt anything bad. Depends on how you react to it. If you think its cool or something im sure your buddies would be on your side and think that chick is fucked up for recording it.
