Buying Your First Car...Any Advice? 10 points?

Give me some advice about owning your first car. I want to buy first car.I don't have and I'm saving up to buy one in the near future. My mom told me before I buy a car I need to have car insurance.


Some people told me that buying a car is a pain in the butt and on top of that you have t pay for car insurance every month.


I'm not planning on buying a brand new and improved car. I'm buying a used car from the dealership that is in good condition. For one...it's cheaper and two there is nothing wrong buying a new car.
 
you can't get insurance til after you got the car, but the dealership will usaully give you like a day insurance or something like that, thats what they did when i got mine, just get quotes on the car from different companys and then get the car when you get a quote you like, i think east wood or dashers actually finds you the cheapest by looking threw different insurance companys, maybe its geico i dnt remeber
