Currently I'm converting a large bird cage (http://images.trademe.co.nz/photoserver/15/139196815_full.jpg) into a rat cage for my two ratties, and I'm having huge difficulty finding powder coated wire (mesh?) in New Zealand!
I've considered different options for shelving and wire is the way to go for me (don't worry, I'm lining it with fleece), but I've searched Mitre Ten, Bunning's, the Warehouse and dollar stores and I haven't found any. I could use wire shelving (already made for clothing shelves, etc) but I'd rather flat wire and it has to be powder coated (not galvanized). Preferably also easy to cut (and not heavy duty).
So, does anyone know where I can get this (preferably really cheap as I have a budget of around $50-100, but I would only pay around that price range if I HAVE to)?
Also, does anyone know the best way to cut it so that it doesn't have sharp edges?
Thanks ^_^
