Ok..Basically we just bought a complete lemon 9 months ago and the engine pretty much went on it. We are now paying a loan for a car we no longer have and obviously need another. We are also getting married in to weeks so we are not in the best finacial postion to say the least. Anyway, my fiance LOVES hondas. I know that they are good cars and last a long time but they are more expensive than a lot of others. I am more interested in reliabilty, value etc.. We've looked around and for $10k we can buy a new or almost used car (lots of different types- pt cruiser, toyota corrola, chyrsler, pontiac, kia etc) or a honda that is anywhere from 7-10 years old with 65-100k miles. I think this is a no brainer...obviously I want to buy a newer car. He insists the honda, although older, is a better choice. Looks aside, what is the better choice? I just cant imagine any car that is almost 10 years old or one that has 100k on it is better than a new one (even if it's not as good quality) Please help!
