buying imac need help?

want to buy and imac from the apple store and i wanted to know if apple store only accepts cash or can you do payments and if so do you need a credit card or can i give them straight at the store . Because i was planning on giving 500 dollar down payment on the 20-inch: 2.66GHz(1,499.00) imac Is that good? and will the payments be small DOES anyone no the answer to these questions i really need help.
 
Mac is overpriced but is way better than windows. why dotn you ask them what payment they take
