Buying e71-2 for daughter 21st. birthday.

With the E71/E66 it really shouldn't matter the build quality is just TOO supreme! I droped mine TWICE, screen cracked but LCD is in perfect working order so this'll be the first time I replace a part on a phone! Just get a case for her's.

Wirelessly posted (Mozilla/5.0 (SymbianOS/9.2; U; Series60/3.1 NokiaE71-2/100.07.76; Profile/MIDP-2.0 Configuration/CLDC-1.1 ) AppleWebKit/413 (KHTML, like Gecko) Safari/413)

are there really non-MIF E71-2? All 3 of mine were MIF

It's also great for perpetuating a myth and uninformed decisions. But hey, I'm just trying to promote reason over ignorance and irrationality. I'll wait for HF Mod 25 to supply the links refuting this myth.

EPVQ300 is correct about one thing, it HAS a better resale value, that is not a myth. People tend to have this notion that MIF is better built hence it resells easily and for a good price.

I sold my E71-1 for a loss not because of the bands, but because it was Made by Nokia, E71-2 I sold for a profit!

I don't doubt that it has higher resale value. It just encourages more fraudulent transactions and fakes. It's bad for all of us to continue this line of reasoning, or lack of reason to be more accurate.

Thanks for all the replys...guess I'll try to hunt for a MIF one if the prices are about the same. This is all above my head, (by the way is still use the old Nokia GATT phone from about seven years ago and still love it) so I am sure I be looking to you folks for help, advise, etc. thx

Nothing fraudulent in listing a phone as MIF/MBN. I've never supported this reasoning, but if people are going to be stupid, why bother?
