I'm getting the 20-inch:
2.4GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
1GB memory
250GB hard drive1
8x double-layer SuperDrive
ATI Radeon HD 2400 XT with 128MB memory

Okay, What I need to know is if I should upgrade the RAM to a 2GB and if the HD 2400 XT graphics card with the 128MB memory is good enough for me.

I will use the Mac basically for personal use, personal video editing (not so high-end), viewing, storing, and editing photos, and using to write documents, etc.

Are these specs good enough for me? By the way, I have a life on a fun island called Guam, so I don't wanna waste my time on computer games, so you can rule out a gamer's needs in my case.

You might want to make your ram a 2gb if your a person that watches videos, plays online games, or edits/films. These are good specifications for todays standards of computers.

I think the specs for your iMac is good enough for working. If you want to do multiple things in the same time, than I recommend upgrading to 2GB of RAM. If I had that iMac with the same specs then I would use it for basic use. I wouldn't do too much video editing or photo editing on it.

yes up the RAM... and you are set to go..
welcome to the mac community... :u)
