Buying a verizon droid on craigslist, will i still be able to do the $50 replacement

if it breaks? I'm thinking of buying a droid for $200 off craigslist and I wanna know if i'll be able to get it replaced if it breaks or something.
 
i really wouldn't recommend this phone in the first place its build is not very good. The slide out keyboard is not very good. I know a few people who have it and they hate the keyboard they only use the keyboard on the touch screen
