does anyone know if this is on a Avoid List or if it is known to be a troubled vih?

i test drove it and the engine light went on. we pulled it to his shop and ran the code. it is the o2 Sensor. -he said he would fix it.
also the ABS braking light went on and went baCK off. he said its a a wheel sensor going bad..No big deal"
what do you think?
