buying a playstation 3 (ps3) help and advice?

I''m looking at getting a ps3, but want one that is ps2 backwards compatible so i don't have to keep my ps2 system to play my ps2 games....can anyone tell me which ps3's are backwards compatible, and how to be sure that i get the right one? thanks in advance for any and all help
 
the old ones .. but dont bother... get the newer version.. you will have more then enough games to play online.... plus the new games... its time to put away those ps2 games plz...
 
Well since they don't make the ones that are backwards compatible anymore you might want to consider ebay cause there probably the only ones that have the older models. get the 60gb one its about 300 to 400 dollars depending on the deal you get.
