Buying A New Pontiac ?

It looks as if GM is going to be forced to drop Pontiac no matter what happens. If this happens i was thinking of buying one because they will be very cheap. However i have heard that i might face problems getting parts if i need the car repaired. DO you think i will have problems getting parts and should i buy the car?
 
As I understand it, many Pontiac vehicles are just like their cousins, the Chevrolets. For example, the Pontiac Montana vans are almost identical to the Chevrolet Venture vans. You might want to check into the model you are interested in.
