im looking at a mazda3 touring 2009 and a pontiac G6 coupe 2009. I cant decide. Opinions? i hate where the break it on the G6 its in a akward place. i feel like ill miss it. but its more sporty and i like that. but i love the way the mazda drives and i like the inside better. help

Mazda 3 all the way no doubt. Pontiac G6 is pretty much a rental car. A quote from Consumer Reports says: "Pontiac G6 is not a very good car".
Mazda 3 is really sporty, has great interior, good on gas, and has proven to be dependable. What I don't like about Mazda 3 is the new exterior styling, it reminds me of Jack Nickolson's smile in Batman movie.

You are just going to get opinions here and these cars are not in the same class.
The Mazda 3 is a compact car and the G6 is a mid-size.
The only reason to consider the G6 is to support the American workers and economy or if you need more cargo and rear seat legroom.
If you have small children or will in the near future, the rear seat in the Mazda 3 has limited space to fit a car-seat.
The Mazda 3 is superior in every other way.

Well.. i have a 08 Impala and a 02 Mazda 626. The Impala, I have had problems with, and we bought it with only 25,000 miles. The mazda, hasn't had a problem since 02 when we bought it new. I'm not saying GM isn't a good Manufacturer, and i'm not saying that every mazda isn't going to have problems, I'm just saying what I've been through. Hope this helps.
