In three months I will be given my mothers 2003 Toyota Corolla LE. I want to start saving for a really nice audio system for it. Nice to me means a lot of base but I do not want it to be rattling my trunk and sound bad. I also want the audio to be clear and crisp. I do not know much about car audio but I had assumed I would need new speaker, head unit, a sub, and an amp. I have read that having one amp power the speakers and one amp power the sub is the best way to go. I have a budget of about $2000 so I don't want to say price isn't a problem but I think I can get what I want for within that amount. Also the head unit needs to be ipod compatible. Thanks!
