i am trying to buy a car from someone on craigslist.. he has the car in storage across the country. he says he is wanting to do the purchase over autotrader.com cause he says its safe and smooth. he has provided many pictures and a VIN # and it checks out. Im wondering how safe is buying from autotrader.com and what kind of protection do they offer if the guy doesnt send it or its in a different condition than he specifies? Also, does he have to provide an inspection list to the site?
