should I haggle for? I'm looking at getting a 1-year old Toyota Avensis, from the main dealer. It's certainly a lot cheaper than brand new, but how much cheaper is the dealer likely to go below their asking price? Any tips on haggling?
Decide the most you are willing to pay as you think that is the fair price then go in 5% lower than that. If the dealer does not say yes then start to walk away and say absolutely nothing. If he calls you back you have got him and if not then the price is actually too low for him to deal at.
