In 1928 the Nazi got 2.6% of the vote on a general election. Then there was a banking collapse - like now and the german government had to repay money to the US. There was mass german unemployment.
By 1933 Nazi had 37% of the vote and chancellor hitler. It all happened so quickly.

What makes you think it cannot happen here when history always repeats itself?
PS - I am not 'We'. I have heeded the warning from history and am wary of fascism of the BNP - but not everyone is.
Actually 'BNP are liars' - the Nazi were voted into power by a population that was mesmerised by them. The only difference i see is that the German population has the war veterans of ww1 who were bitter about the armistice. That helped them create a hotbed of hatred...but was this even needed for what happened? My worry is that the BNP can and will grow now step by step as history repeats itself - always. I read somewhere "what has been will be to come.."
 
It could happen here. That is why some of us oppose the Nazis in the BNP on here and other forums and in the real world.

We have learnt from history and seek to ensure there is no repeat of the barbarity that Hitler's brand of Nazism plunged the world into.

Read a little more carefully the Nazis rise and assumption of power. They were not democratically elected. While they became the largest party in the Reichstag they made backdoor deals with other right wing parties so Hitler could assume the Chancellorship. In fact in terms of votes the combined Left: the SPD, the KPD and the USPD had more votes but were split. The Communists believed that after the Nazis they could take power. By the time they realised their mistake it was too late.

This time we cannot afford to be disunited. That is one reason why all those who are seek to preserve democratic ideals, whether Left, Centre or Right, must unite against the Nazis in the BNP to turn back the spread of their Nazi ideas and influence.

"THE BNP ARE LIARS" is in fact *not* right, since Ragazza's comments were not a contradiction in the slightest; and they say the BNP members are uneducated.

This guy is known for being extremely prejudice in his views against anything British.
