Hello,

So I've only recently turned to medication to help my anxiety. I tried Lexapro but it really overstimulated me. After two weeks, my doctor and I decided to try BuSpar. I tend to be VERY sensitive to things, so I started with only 2.5 mg last night and had a MAJOR panic attack starting about 2 1/2 hours after I took the first dose of BuSpar. I was very panicky for about 3 hours before I was finally able to fall asleep. I skipped my dose this morning but my doctor wants me to try the small dose again tomorrow morning.

I'm completely terrified of putting that stuff into my body again. I was very nervous about taking it in the first place, so she thinks that might have made things worse, but what if I feel that bad again tomorrow? Just looking for a little reassurance.

Thanks

Lucy

That is an incredibly small dose of Buspar. Buspar take a mch longer time time to work then one dose. I really doubt that it caused yor panic attack. I take 30 mg a day ( you can take up to 60 mg daily) Greg
