Business sold out, but what happens to my warranty?

Alright, I got some body work done on my car about 3 weeks ago from a place called Texas Best Auto Collision. The work they did was terrible, the paint is peeling and it's discolored. I went up there today and talked to one of the workers to have it fixed and he said the previous owner sold the place to some new owner, and that there is nothing i can do with the warranty i have. Is that entirely true? is there legal obligations that hold the new owners to previous customers with warranties. Help me out
