2. So, what does the shoe symbolize in Iraq? I heard that showing your soles was considered an insult or something... Is that true?
 
1. He would have been better off if it had hit him. The left-wing media is loving this. If the shoe had hit him and he had been injured, it wouldn't have been so funny.

2. It symbolizes the progress that's been made in Iraq. Could you imagine what would have happened to that guy had he thrown his shoe at Saddam?
 
Yes. I'm sure the man who threw the shoes meant it as an insult. I believe that some Iraqis may be upset at the US media portrayal that we are doing them a favor and they may want to make a statement that they don't want us there.
 
muslims are impossible to rationalize. I hope someone throws a shoe covered with dog shyt at osama bin obama hussein bin obama.
