busch gardens military ID?

So I’m going to Busch Gardens later this week and my dad is in the air force, so I wanted to use my military ID to get in for free. My question is, how well do they check the ID’s? I have a military ID the only problem is is that I got it when I was about 13 years old (I’m 20 now) so it is expired. I’m looking for people with personal experience ! How well did they check your ID ? Did they check when it expires ? Any info will help 
