We have a 2006 automatic Toyota Corrola with 60k miles. We got an oil change at the dealer last Friday and they told us the transmission fluid is burnt. The transmission is shifting and behaving just fine, the car does not tow (obviously) anything, is driven in equal parts stop and go and highway traffic, and doesn't overheat ever.
Why would the transmission fluid be burnt? Do you think the dealer was lying to try and get $$ from us?
