burning tongue

I was diagnosed with a hiatal hernia and silent reflux. I have a burning sensation on my tongue and do not know what to do for it.
 
I have tons of reflux, hernia etc. From time to time I have trouble with my tongue. My dr gave me some med to rinse with. It is basically a mix of pain reliever and mylanta/gaviscon. It works well for me.
 
hen all my digstive problems started I also had burning mouth and excess phlegm, these are symptoms of LPR, I had to go on double dosage of PPI, one in the morning and one at nigh. Are you on any PPIs?
 
I have also found that this is a side effect of iron deficiency (or related disease). I'm now on Iron infusions and no tongue trouble...

oh and my B levels were over the top. They had me stop my B supplements as it can case the same symptoms as those of a lack of B vits
