I am writing a problem that my mother has been suffering for nearly 2 yrs now. But she has other pain problems for many years now. Now in last 2 yrs she got some burning sensation in her legs. She has burning sensation in her legs starting from the knees to lower legs. She has been to some of the best of the orthopedic doctors in my region. They never seem to point out the exact problem, the common answers were age, bones getting weaker etc.. But none of their answers could satisfy me. She has been on various medications including ayurvedic but none of these worked for her. My mother can neither sleep at nights nor she can sit pleasantly in day. She is extremely frustrated and so disappointed that sometimes she doesn't want to live anymore. I am very worried about her as I am abroad for studies.
Some of the details about her:
Age: 50 yrs
Profession: Retired, but has worked as a labor for 35 yrs.
Recently, when I got a chance to visit the doctor with her, some of the medicines which he prescribed were related to lubrication and calcium tablets.
And more recently couple of days ago she went a regular check up to the same doctor and he was saying the there may be some problem in her lower stomach as the previous medicines didn't work.
It is very difficult to trust the doctors in India where the doctors exploited the lack of information of their clients and has been become a good money making business. It would be great if some of you can suggest the possible reasons and remedies. I would be indebted to them for my life.
