First, put a blank DVD in the drive. Simply drag the file onto the blank DVD icon, then drag the DVD icon to the burn symbol in the dock (where the waste basket would normally be). Couldn't be more simple. The DVD is ejected by pressing the eject key on the keyboard (on the top row somewhere on the right depending on the model). I don't know what isn't working for you. Is it creating the content in the first place what you're having trouble with?
